The Venture League
The Venture League faction explores the corners of the universe, seeking for ways to fight against the Maelstrom. They are led by Hael Storm.
Hael Storm has a vast story on his home planet of Moane, having been member of a crew of pirate criminals, and soon after becoming friends with one of the most renowned adventurers on the seas alongside his beloved sister.
As an adult, Hael became part of the program to travel accross the space in search of new places to live in, soon becoming the proud captain of the majestic intergalactic ship: the Venture Koi.
It was on there when he was called by the Mythran, to travel to the unknown an find the forgotten planet of Crux, alongside friends he would find along the way. The greatest aventure was about to begin.
HAEL STORM
One of the members of the Nexus Force native to Moane, Sky Lane is a friend of Hael Storm, both members of the exploration program designed to find and colonize new planets after theirs became too overpopulated. She was Captain of the Venture Explorer, one of the largest among the Venturian Spaceships.
Having grown up in an island secluded from the outside, Sky is totally fascinated with whatever the universe has to offer, and she will happily listen to any story about foreign lands and cultures. In particular, she is really interested in the "Galaxy Squad" of Aurum, and seems to greatly admire its members.
SKY LANE
One could say everything was handed over to Trek throughout his life. Luck was always by his side, and things always ended in his favor.
Eventually discovering his unmatched aim, Trek participated on several shooting championships throughout East Astor, Aurum, and never lost one of them. Some would even go as far and accuse him of cheating, but that is untrue; he is simply very skilled. Maybe even to a point where he is considered a show-off, and while he can't exactly deny that, everyone recognizes his abilities. A true hotshot.

THE LANE SISTERS
Magnus "Bumperdent" Brent's past is shrouded in mystery. Some say he was a criminal long ago, others say he is outright crazy, while the rest think he simply enjoys the adrenaline of the fight. In reality, it's all a mix of the three.
There's nothing better than ripping off the body of a Stromling using a gigantic whirligig saw, or blowing up their brains with dual shotguns.
Extremely "unorthodox" some claim, but it must never be denied that his ways have proven useful in combat. Magnus truly proves to be a warrior of one kind (Luckily).
MAGNUS BUMPERDENT
One of the biggest legends of Aurum, Johnny Thunder is considered a hero throughout the world. His stories and adventures known worldwide (but mostly through bad cinematographic adaptations), and feats acknowledged by children and adults alike.
At some point, Johnny left the world leaving no trace, and everyone thought he disappeared for good. Eventually, however, when the universe needed him the most, Thunder returned once again to aid the Nexus Force and the universe in the battle against the Maelstrom, on one final adventure.

Captain Jackson Knife is one of the most renowned adventurers back in Moane alongside his crew and beloved ship, the Black Seas Barracuda, given to him by the legendary hero Roger Redbeard.
But it was not always like this, with a vast story of epic and tragic tales, fighting pirates and criminals, some even claim he has seen ghost ships and undead armies (but he is well known for exaggerating, however). What is true, is his loyalty and devotion for his crew, and theirs' to him as well, and they will go wherever if it means having another story to sing by the fire.
CAPTAIN JACK KNIFE
A man who considers himself "old-fashioned", William Ganges finds enjoyment on adventure, the ways his ancestors used to. Billy takes pride on their way of life and always seeks to honor that. However, even he can recognize the time to use these modern "toys" to improve his own efficiency, and when those toys include electric whips and energy crossbows, fellow members of the Venture League couldn't be happier about it (Maybe even more, if he wasn't too strict about touching his hat).
